Captain's Message
Dear Golfers,
Welcome to the New Age Jamshedpur Golf!
Today our golf club presents its self in its digital avatar.
While we are a club steeped in history and tradition, we also have endeavored to keep ourselves "young" and versatile. Be it in changing the physical landscape of our golf courses to be counted as one of the top golfing destinations of the country to introducing a "Golf Training Center" to create class golfers from our younger generations.
I am sure all of you will second me when I say that Jamshedpur Golf with its Beldih and Golmuri Courses are the life breath for many of us.
Playing on these picturesque and uniquely challenging golf courses we add healthy years to our life as we get exercise, fresh air, fun filled camaraderie and important life lessons as we tackle this game that can have us soaring one minute and crashing the next, but always motivating us to make the next shot a better one. What better analogy of life can there be?
Jamshedpur Golf is a collective of all of us and the onus of keeping its high standards also rests on us. Golf is the only sport that is referred as a "Gentleman's Game". That is because it demands respect. Respect for the game and the physical course, respect for rules and regulations and respect for opponent and playing partner alike. I am sure I can count on each one of you to lead by example in this respect and keep our clubs flag flying high.
I would like to draw your attention to safety, something which we should prioritize above all. We all know how grievous golf injuries can be, hence I request you to kindly observe safety norms at all times while playing, whether driving golf carts, walking or hitting golf shots. Caution saves lives.
I extend a special welcome to "Guest Players". I hope you will fall in love with our courses just like we have and return to play here again and again. This website has been designed specially to make Jamshedpur more universally accessible so that this "Jewel" of ours can be enjoyed by a larger golfing fraternity from other parts of our country and the world.
Our Club also warmly welcomes non golfers, to come and partake of our Golf Pavilions and its hospitality facilities. We promise you our weekend breakfast buffets and a-la-carte offerings from our kitchen are legendary! We will continue to work towards making Jamshedpur Golf better and better with each passing year. I welcome your suggestions and contributions towards this end.
